Quality audits training

Course Overview

Are you a member of your organisation’s Audit Team?

Do you have a requirement to train new Quality Auditors?

Our popular course has been designed in line with the International Guidelines for Auditing Quality.

This is a very practical and engaging one-day course, which will provide excellent training for carrying out Quality Audits, both internally of your own system, processes and procedures, and those of your suppliers and / or subcontractors. Internal audits are a requirement of ISO 9001, as is the need to show that auditors have received appropriate training.

The course has been developed in line with the International Guidelines for Auditing Management Systems, ISO 19011:2011 and is equally useful for those carrying out quality audits as well as for other purposes such as Health & Safety, HACCP, ISO14001 and other management system audits.

Numbers attending are always kept low, so there is maximum scope for individual attention and we are able to tailor the day very much to the needs and interests of those attending.

Benchmark Business Training is totally independent from any of the ISO 9000 registration bodies and the content of this course is objective and unbiased. You will receive a Certificate of Attendance and our comprehensive course manual, which includes sample checklists and practical advice for successful auditing, based on many years' experience.

Presenter John Drury BSc, CEng, FCQI CQP, MIEE, Sen.ASQ is a consultant on quality management matters and regularly conducts third party audits. He has a wide experience of quality and associated management systems both in the UK and internationally.

Course Content

Internal and Supplier Audits have an essential role in verifying the existence and successful implementation of Quality Systems, and for judging their effectiveness for achieving defined quality target levels. They provide objective evidence concerning the reduction and elimination of problem areas and form a key management tool for achieving continual improvement in the performance of an organisation.

This practical one-day course provides guidelines for planning, carrying out and documenting audits of quality systems both within an organisation and for assessing outside suppliers and subcontractors. Basic audit principles, criteria and practice are presented in such a way as to ensure that participants can relate them to their own industries and organisations.

The course is equally suitable for those needing to carry out internal audits for other purposes, such as Health & Safety At Work, HACCP, ISO14001 environmental management system audits, etc etc.

This is a highly participative day's training, with frequent practical examples and ample time set aside for discussion and individual questions. Comprehensive course documentation will be provided for all participants, which includes checklists, and hints and tips for successful auditing based on many years' experience.
